Our Info centre, located next door to cinema Draken, is open every day of the festival 9.30 AM - 10 PM. Here you will find an information desk and a festival shop (open weekdays 11 AM - 8 PM and weekends 9.30 AM - 10 PM). You can also contact our info centre by e-mail or phone.

Here's how to buy tickets before the start of the festival (Jan 14 - 26):

The quickest way of purchasing tickets is right here at www.giff.se.
Here you can see how many seats are available and purchase your tickets in real-time, starting Saturday Jan 14 at 12 Noon until the festival ends on Feb 6. Tickets purchased online are collected at our pre-order desks or the festival cinemas during the festival.
PLEASE NOTE: We do not send any tickets by mail.

Saturday 14, our pre-order desks opens at Draken/SPACE, Stadsbiblioteket (City Library) at Götaplatsen and Stadsbiblioteket 300 m2. You can buy a Festival Pass and tickets to all screenings at any of these desks.

At any Festival cinema:
Throughout the Festival, 27 Jan - Feb 6, from 30 minutes before the start of the first screening until the start of the day's final screening.

Age restrictions
You have to be 15 years old to purchase tickets, with the exception of Lilla Filmfestivalen Jan 21–23 and our retrospective of Swedish feature films from 2011 – where the films may have different age restrictions.

Please note! Your ticket is valid until the scheduled start of the screening. No admittance after the screening starts. If you are not on time, your seat may go to someone else. Tickets can only be purchased online or at our ticket desks. You cannot order tickets by phone or e-mail.

Film screening: SEK 80

Discount tickets (students,  senior citizens and those unemployed): SEK 60 (until 4.45 PM on weekdays).

Festival Pass: SEK 30

Day pass: SEK 350

Discounts

Starting Friday Jan 27, students,  senior citizens and those unemployed can buy tickets at a discount price of SEK 60 to screenings starting no later than 4.45 PM on weekdays. These tickets can only be purchased at our ticket desks (not online).

Festival Pass

As a Göteborg International Film Festival visitor you need a personal Festival Pass, which includes festival membership. The Festival Pass is SEK 30 and valid for entrance to seminars and Lagerhuset. A signature is mandatory for the validity of your pass, which must be shown upon entrance to all screenings. Passes printed on paper tickets are exchanged for plastic cards at the information desk at Draken.

Day Pass

The Day  Pass is SEK 350 (the mandatory Festival Pass, including membership, is included). The 11-day Pass gives you access to all screenings starting no later than 4.45 PM, as long as there are seats available. Sold-out screenings not included. First come, first served. The Pass also gives you a SEK discount when purchasing tickets for screenings starting no later than 4.45 PM on the weekends.
