This year's nominations for the Golden Dragon Film Award

For the 18th year in a row Göteborg International Film Festival will hand out the Golden Dragon Award. The winner will be presented on April 30. The five nominees has in various ways made a contribution to the film in western Sweden.
Göteborg International Film Festival's Golden Dragon Award is given annually to someone who has done "cinematography support operations in western Sweden." The prize consists of SEK 10 000 and a "prize trophy" in the form of a large soft golden dragon, designed by Karin Landahl.
Last year's winner was Johannes Nyholm, which this year is very topical with his short film Las Palmas which premiered at GIFF and now makes success on YouTube and festivals around the world.
The award ceremony will be held on April 30 at Hagabion. The five nominees are interviewed on stage and afterwards there will be a great party.
