Nicolas Winding Refns mix between spaghettiwestern, samurai flick and Tarkovskij is now up on cinemas. Valhalla Rising had its premiere during GIFF 2010 and, of course, we had the main role actor Mads Mikkelsen and the director here visiting screenings, press conferences and interviews. Among other things we did an interviews with Mads for the next issue of "Filmkonst" - our new guestbook. The picture above is from the interview and is taken by Erik Nilsson. We asked Mads if he had any favourite actors. He answered:

"There are so many, among them Paul Newman and Meryl Streep. What makes a good actor is the ability to understand what the director wants to achieve and have the talent to enter the world of another human being."
