Göteborg International Film Festival Fund awards post production support spring 2010

After a record breaking year with ten fund films in the festival programme Göteborg International Film Festival Fund now continues its operations.

Since eleven years GIFF, in cooperation with SIDA, supports filmmakers living and working in development countries. Since 1998 the fund has supported more than 100 films from over 25 countries, as well as work shops and training initiatives.

The following films have been selected for post production support during the spring, 2010:

Circus Columbia (Bosnia and Herzegovina) by Danis Tanovic

The Hilling Day (Togo) by Delphine Konna/Austin Batita Bissari

Kondonna (Togo) by Luc Abaki Kouméabalo

Joan and the Voices (Armenia) by Mikayel Vatinyan

Passion (Mongolia) by Byamba Sakhya

Playing With Nan (Nepal) by Dipesh Karel

Runaway (Bangladesh) by Amit Ashraf/Sumon Arefin

On top of that GIFFF enters a cooperation with one of the first educational projects in Equatorial Guinea.

Next deadline will be October 31, when submission is open for film projects looking for development support.
